After his first season with us I honestly thought we had a potential superstar on our hands in the Vieira mould but he never made the progress I thought and seemed to be going backwards with us this last season.

I think a change of club will do him good and is great business by both clubs. Good luck Momo

he was a good signing in many respects.

good on the pitch, a real destroyer. momo was fearless. ultimately that was his undoing, never backing out of a challenge led to two nasty injuries and he never came back to his best after that.

and some good business by rafa... signing players and selling for a profit is something we as a club havent really got the hang of but momo joins bellamy, barraghan, probably carson and i suspect a few more players in the future who we have made a bit of money on.

compare this to the money we lost of diao, diouf, cisse, cheyrou, biscan, heskey, vlad, dudek... its a turnaround... and the credit goes to our manager.
