    The AFL proposed stadium design

This is the link to the New Generation Anfield design proposed by architects AFL which recently lost out to HKS.

    They look ok to me.

      Not bad for £290m

Is hat the same cost of the HKS one? Think the HKS one looks better and more unique, but I wouldn't have complained with that one.

funny one - you have to try it a couple of times before it goes through.

Very nice - The Kop looks huge and I like the idea of no empty corners. I think the one we are going for is superb though.

Looks ok, a bit of the parry bowl with some extra bells and whistles. Probably have better acoustics due to being more enclosed than the new HKS design

I will never understand why they even bothered to compete with HKS in the first place. Hicks as a Texan will always chose a Texan company before a foreign one.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Honestly, I much prefer the HKS one.
This one looks like a beefed up bowl, and if you remove those two arches it looks very much like Arsenals new stadium.

They choose the right one of the 2 imo, look's ok, but very unoriginal, it's dressed up nice but take away the bunting & its basically a round bowl. I agree on the corners having seats & being full of fans though, looks better. But noone will mistake our stadium when if it's built.

I like the overall look of the HKS best, the inside with the stands looks better on this one. I don`t like opening in the Kop and the open sides in the other one.

                        that's a bit harsh mate.

Its miles better than the original parrybowl and it definitely has some plus points over the HKS one -especially the corners being filled in.

Im not saying its my favourite but AFL have done a decent job on this.

They just spruced up their original designs instead of ripping that **** up and starting from scratch, which is what they should have done. Still has far too many common/unoriginal features and still looks indistinct and far too similar to the new wave of stadiums. And I ****ing hate the bowl design. How many new stadiums have to incorporate it before people realsie it's ****e?

It's better than the Parrybowl but I still would've hated that to be our new ground.

I don't like the corners in football grounds to be filled in. Never have done. I don't like bowls. Having the corners 'un-filled' gives stadiums a lot of their character IMO.

think the first thing hicks has actully got right is not chosing the above stadium.

                              hes still a cunt though

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."
