Wise words, mate, but I doubt fredo is even listening..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Alleged 'mental conditions' is no a catch-all excuse to satisfy all examples of ego-tistical, woman-beating behavious and betrayals and adisgraceful and lazy attitude! 'I'm not well in the 'ead' doesn't wash whatsoever to excuse you in being a ****** that let a lot of people down.

but he didnt have depression when we sold him, his condition developed a few years later.Originally posted by carheex View PostCollymore had depression - a recognised medical condition. To call him a "headcase" is like saying Babbel was lazy for sitting about in a wheelchair. I'm sick of people having a dig at Collymore.
In fact the deal for colly was a good one for us, he did well in his 2 years and his subsequent form made 7 mill look like a real mugging by us on Villa.
As for bigger sales than Momo, can only think of Robbie and Owen

I'll always respect him for that

TBH I wouldn't say abysmal, he was there for a specific job. Some people loved him for it, others didn't. He tried his best, which is all you can ask, and showed his class as an individual by moving on when it was clear he was not in Rafas plans. If only it was always that simple to move players on.
Momo is a pro, not a money grabbing ****, and he was also very respectful of what LFC and Rafa had done for him. Respect.Forwards.......
