Exactly Shankly would never accept that so neither should we.

        See above line.

Typical nonsensical, impatient, glory hunting, exaggerated, spoiled, Newcastle fan syndrome response.

Rafa Benitez is one of the very best managers in the world.

He has been here for 3.5 years. Half of what it took Ferguson to win the title by outspending the rest of the league consistently, half of the time LFC gave Shankly to win the league again. Not even as much time as Houllier was given to get it right. Oh, did I mention two European finals and an F.A cup?

To get rid of him now and bring some no-mark manager with "guts" and "motivation" skills would be an absolute joke.

PEOPLE WANT A NEW MANAGER BECAUSE THEY WANT INSTANT SUCCESS ALL THE TIME AND THAT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN WITH ANY OTHER MANAGER COMING IN, SO GET IT INSIDE YOUR HEADS.

Get rid of Benitez, and you destroy the foundations he has laid, the work he has done and start from scratch with someone who's just not as good.

Back Rafa Benitez. Give him confidence and time. Give him money and support. He's in the most difficult situation in his life, his pride has been destroyed, his mouth shut, but he has not given up on making us happy.

I will not give up on him!
RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFAEL BENITEZ!

i dont think rafa can motivate this team and in turn, it is shocking that these players need motivation playing for lfc

please bring back sammy as assistant or someone to communicate with the team

I disagree. People want a new manager because its becoming clear that Rafa's football does not suite the premiership. Its almost 4 years now and we're dropping outside of the top 4, not closing in on the top.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

I really want Rafa & Kuyt to be lovers. At least things would make a little more sense.

I want Rafa to stay, all the off field issues to be resolved and for us to have one season where Rafa is boss and only after that can we judge him to be failure or success. The yanks have ****ed this season make no mistake.

not spot on at all. i am behind the team, never really slate players or rafa and never called for his head. when you have 4 pts out of the last 5 games and you are behind your nearest rivals there is something wrong with the players and the manager. despite all the bollocks off-field we should still produce reasonable football not the ****e we have seen lately, its a lame excuse imo.

Personally, i think Rafa is a great manager and can and will bring us number 19. But, there is something wrong with the team at the moment.

Maybe its just the takeover rumours, but they need to snap out of it.

Oh, and Crouch has to play.

I'll tell you something. I;m old enough to have seen plenty of guttless performances from the teams shankly and paisley put out, and if you think Rafs buys and team selections are poor you obviously didnt see many of Kennys games!!

I can see me being at work tomorrow, opening up bbc.co.uk/football and seeing a 'Rafa out' headline
