2.5 years with relatively small funds and then another year having total cunts as owners who have shattered the team's spirit and confidence with their off pitch antics and undermined the manager's position.

Yeah, clearly Rafa has to go.

    ******s.
    Yawn!

Should Rafa publicly condemn his players after a match? Will that have any value other than pleasing the blood thirsty keyboard fans?
Why not, the players seem to be taking a lot of notice of the media with regards to the takeover etc, it really affected their on pitch performances you know.
      We come not to play.

No you were right. I didn't agree with that either. Though if Rafa had kept quiet he'd probably be out the door by now.

Regardless of what cowtownred says it'd only be on a par with days of Souness. And even if the Yanks struggled with payments I'm sure they'd sell up, so we're hardly gonna do "a leeds".

kuyt is the only proper money he has wasted, rest of them where little players for little money...

                See above line.

Typical nonsensical, impatient, glory hunting, exaggerated, spoiled, Newcastle fan syndrome response.

Rafa Benitez is one of the very best managers in the world.

He has been here for 3.5 years. Half of what it took Ferguson to win the title by outspending the rest of the league consistently, half of the time LFC gave Shankly to win the league again. Not even as much time as Houllier was given to get it right. Oh, did I mention two European finals and an F.A cup?

To get rid of him now and bring some no-mark manager with "guts" and "motivation" skills would be an absolute joke.

PEOPLE WANT A NEW MANAGER BECAUSE THEY WANT INSTANT SUCCESS ALL THE TIME AND THAT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN WITH ANY OTHER MANAGER COMING IN, SO GET IT INSIDE YOUR HEADS.

Get rid of Benitez, and you destroy the foundations he has laid, the work he has done and start from scratch with someone who's just not as good.

Back Rafa Benitez. Give him confidence and time. Give him money and support. He's in the most difficult situation in his life, his pride has been destroyed, his mouth shut, but he has not given up on making us happy.

I will not give up on him!

Rafa isn't perfect and yes he has made mistakes but for ****s sake the players need to take a large portion of the blame not him. How many games have we seen this year when there has been no heart or fight from the players, stevie and jamie included.

It does look as though the players are not following instructions from Rafa and if we now have the mentality in our team where players are not following instructions and instead doing their on thing then **** em, they are not fit to where the shirt of this club and Rafa should show them who is boss and drop them even if that includes the so called back bone of our team. If player power is controlling the team then that is a ****ed up situation and needs to be stamped out now. I would rather see a bunch of youth team players out there given 100% than some of the prima donnas that we have out there at the minute even if that means loosing games.

If people think sacking rafa is going to be solution to the problem then think again, I would like to bet that in 3 years time we are sitting here having the same discussion. You only have to look at Utd as an example of what happens if a manager is given time (although it would have been nice) had Utd sacked Slur Alex would they be sitting where they are now? Probably not.

Back Rafa with his first choice targets instead of settling for 2nd, 3rd or 4th choice targets and allow him to build the team he wants and I believe he will bring number 19 to Anfield.

It's time to get behind Rafa and give him the support he deserves.

I dont want him to go. Id give him 12 months from now. This season is not over. It can still be salvaged. He's done it before

I def think he deserves a shot at next season too. I still believe. Dont know why exactly but still this feeling that we will come good next season

He may have lost some of the dressing room.

I've never seen a team lacking in so much confidence and self belief.

We were all over the place tonight.

Only a big win against Sunderland can start to repair some of the damage methinks.

I'm a big Rafa fan but like it or not his position is slowly becoming untenable with poor result. There are mitigating factors this season but fighting for 4th with EFC, Villa and Citeh is simply not good enough.

If we don't finish 4th this season then much as it hurts to say it, Hicks would have evry right to get shut. we are an absolute shambles on & off the pitch.

Clearly its not Rafa's fault. I think everyones not looking in the right place. I believe that our main problem is the anfield chef. He's vital to our teams performances. Somewhere along the line he changed the menus and created something truly amazing. **** food. Not just any **** food, but one that uses the opposite reaction to a laxative. It holds the **** in. This isnt the same as constipation. That leads to the body not wanting the crap inside you. This food makes the body desire ****, and therefore you become ****. Seriously.

**** the Yanks...get them outta here. The multi-million $$$$ footballers should not have to put up with this. It is clearly affecting how they shoot, pass and tackle. If Moores was our owner this ****e wouldn't happen.

Maybe it's Wenger. He ****ed upthe food of Spurs when they nearly got 4th, now he's had us over when we were level on points early on in the season.........
