You're right though. The thing about the debt that was reported on the day of the Villa game was needless. Everyone knew we'd end up in debt when the Yanks came in, but splashing it all over the front page (and loads of pages inside) and the timing of it just made things worse. As soon as I saw the front page I almost phoned my mate and said I didn't want to go to the game that night because I knew how bad it would be.
It really is annoying as of late, thing is I don't see it changing for a while, do you?

So you ever privvy to any behind the scenes stuff, or do you just generally see whats in the paper?

It happens often enough here though.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Why is he being picked though? You have to ask questions of Benitez.

          I don't think it'll change no.

As for what I see, just the general stuff you'd expect. People on the phone to Rafa, Hicks, players etc. There was about an hour or so after the Klinsmann story broke when I thought Rafa could easily have resigned there and then. He phoned Tony and the whole office went quiet just in case he did.

I'll get to see what's reported (and how it is reported) at about 9 in the morning when I'm in.

My son Foster is a fan of soccer. He was a goaltender. His brother was a defenseman.

No idea about that one. Haven't really asked, doubt it'll happen today though.

He was probably thinking "Champions League, you're 'aving a laff" to himself
