    Next up, Sunderland

This is now a must win game to get our season back on track. It's time for Rafa to bench some of our players and show them who is the boss.

    ---------------Reina
    Finnan----Carra----Hyypia----Insua
    --------Alonso-----Lucas----------
    ---Benny------Torres-----Babel----
    ---------------Nemeth-------------

That is the starting XI I hope that he start with. No Gerrard His latest performances hasn't been good enough, not the only under performing player but he is the Captain and should show the rest of the players that performances like that isn't acceptable. He isn't doing that, he plays like he don't care at all.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Working for this one but will be praying for our first 3 points of the year. What is happening to us? It really is gone that bad now that we dont know if we'll beat Sunderland at home.

Good man AF, I'd rather discuss the next match than listen to hundreds of people moaning about the last one. As gutting as it was moaning changes nothing.

I'd pick this team for Saturday:

        Reina
        Finnan Hyppia Carra Riise
        Pennant Gerrard Lucas Benayoun
        Torres Babel

It's very attacking but we should play that way against Sunderland at home.

        Come on you redmen

            Alonso Mascherano
Gerrard (on the right!!) Yossi Babel

****ing ridiculous lineup, sorry but what has nemeth done to deserve a starting role? He's not even been on the bench for a game yet. We should go back to basics with a 4-4-2 with crouchy and torres up front.

              ---------------Reina
              Finnan----Carra----Hyypia----Riise
              --------Alonso----Mascherano-----
              ---Gerrard-----------------Babel---
              --------Crouch------Torres-------

At least with that team we'd get some much needed points on the board. Cover for the defence and then some pace and power up front.

If anything i'd give Skrtel his chance in place of Sami but stick with that side for a decent run of games and let them get used to playing together.

Sure Gerrard's not playing his best but he's always worth having in the side because even on a bad day he can pop up with a goal.
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

posted in another thread but better here:

I know what i'd do, but of course it could fail cataclysmically

                    V Sunderland

I'd play Torres, Gerrard, Mascherano, Carra, Hyypia, Reina

and i'd fill the other 5 spots out with reserve team players, lets be honest they can't give any worse performances then we've seen at the moment.

They'll play with heart and determination, and I really don't think it'd be that detrimental to our overall performance to give them a game. If we lose we lose it's not like things can get much worse at the moment.

I'd make it clear that the underachieving little gob ****es who've been playing week in week out, can either shape up or **** off, and they've now got take their places back from a bunch of kids

AF, you are a legend, Nemeth and Insua in arguably the most crucial game of the season . You'll be happy to know that young Andras Simon is back from injury and had a start with the Ressies in a friendly recently as reported in RAWK.

I know how you feel but I could never purposely miss watching a LFC match. My guess is that you couldn't either..

I would love to see a couple of youngsters play but Rafa would have to have a brain explosion first before he did this wouldnt he?. Young players are great in the sense that they are not scared, will give 100% and will have a go unlike some of the more fancied well payed cream puffs that inhabited the LFC shirt last night
