I think that may be part of the problem.

Do LFC just show them the local chippy or something?
Yeah but it's not gonna be like it is back home for him, there's probably a limited variation of products available.

And i bet any brazilian restaurants around merseyside lack some proper authenticity too.

Try taking a Chinese person for a chinese meal in the UK and see what they say

I think he'd send his cook back home if that's what he'd been eating. He's probably being force-fed proper English curry.

He wants to play more games but is willing to fight for his position, hopes to play more in the next months. English football more physical, quicker, less technical, but he thinks he is adapted.

He has a Brazilian 'cooker' in his house who lives with him and his girlfriend as he is not crazy about English food but it is 'ok'. Doesnt mind the weather, loves the city. Was difficult when he arrived as he had poor English, Fabio was very important for him in his first 2 months, taught him about the club. Carra is 'impossible to understand' but he is trying to understand and speak it because is the only way he will learn.

Learning a lot from Rafa, thinks he will be successful with the Reds for a long time. He knows it will be difficult because of Stevie, Xabi and Mascher, but hopes to be more involved in the coming months.

Looking forward to the Irish game next week, mentioned Robbie Keane as a good player. Looking forward to playing in front of 80,000 people.

Came across really well, seems like a nice guy, English is really good for someone not long signed. Couple of positive texts into the station after the interview from Reds and non-Reds.
I'm looking forward to the game too

Good stuff. As someone else said, I'd have him in the team ahead of Xabi right now.
Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.

Really like the look of Lucas - he seems to have a good footballing brain and isn't afraid to get a hold of the football and use it well! For a young lad he has a lot going for him, and next season, like Babel, I expect him to push on for a regular starting spot.

Seems like a good attitude on the lad too!

Yeah mate it really pisses me off. British food had a bad rep so 20 years ago but now it is one of the worlds best.
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
