Now with the window closed our whole season depends on one player....

    ....staying fit.

We didn't sign another quality attacking player so we will now have to hope that he stays fit the whole season. If he gets injured then it's bye, bye CL next season.

Would be frightening to be left with Kuyt, Crouch and Voronin as options upfront.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

You’ll probably get slaughtered by the usual suspects (although Rocket seems to have left ) but you’re right – we’ll be ****ed if Torres gets injured.

Babel offers some hope, however, and could deputise in the event of a Torres injury, but yeah…we need him desperately.

Almost as desperate is the need to add another top striker to the squad.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

particularly when kuyt and voronin would be preferred to crouch...

If, God forbid, he gets injured, I reckon we would play Babel more often on the flank, put Crouch up front and play SG further up too.

That could work, but hopefully we don't have to go there.

I'm hoping that the fact we haven't signed another player of the right calibre means that there will be wholesale changes in the Summer.

Torres staying fit is vital but I think defensively, in particular CB is where we are still vulnerable.

If Sami or Carra got injured I don't think Skrtle is quite ready from what I have seen of him. I just want Agger back in the team asap - he has been seriously missed.

He does have a good track record as regards injuries thus far (touches wood) so hopefully we sould be alright.

Every team relies massively on one player. If Ronaldo got injured for Utd I think it could have almost as big an impact as a Torres injury for us.

                That's such a depressing thought!!
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                  Gerrard is just as important...

We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.

There's very rarely any 'big-money'signing made during the Jan transfer window.

He's a good player but a moody mofo. Not sure he would be good for us. Could be great - could be a disaster.

A moody mofo who has a selfish streak would be better than Kuyt and Voronin.

I agree losing Torres would be a huge blow but lets not forget we didn't do to badly without him last year.

If only Rafa would play Crouch Regularly and keep a more settled team.

Huntelaar just needs to be given the chance at a major european club either here or Spain. He really does have it all to be top notch.
