I'll do you the favour of hiding your obscenity - one you are using with increasing frequency the last few days. I'll tell you someone else who is class - and has been having a similar hard time this season. Dirk Kuyt. Momo put in some huge performances for this club, but also struggled at times. He was afforded little patience, despite never having a bad word for the club. Kuyt too is a class act - like Momo he may lack a little in the finer skills, but he won't hide, he won't stop trying, he loves the club. Anybody who felt a twinge of guilt at Momo's classy departure, get behind Dirk. He's a Liverpool player who gives his best - remember Chelsea CL semi final, his goal in the final, his 2 penalties at Goodison. Whatever else you may say of him, Dirk most definitely does care. He deserves better support than he's been receiving.
To the Liverpool fans who showed class applauding Leeds and Arsenal who won the title in front of the Kop, to the Liverpool fans who have shown wit and knowledge surpassing any other supporters, get behind your own players when they struggle, especially those to whom the red of Liverpool means more than a pay cheque. I'm not going to wait until we sell Kuyt to support him. I'd like to see him get back to his best and lead our team to another Champions League.
