They were once rating the players after an England match and the narrative attached to Ashley Coles score was "Cats piss". (not that I read the Sport like, I just live in the North East so there are always loads of copies knocking about in bars).
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

              PARRY EXPOSED AS UNITED SPY

Rick Parry has this week been sensationally exposed as secret employee of Manchester United. The Chief Executive of Liverpool Football Club was angrily confronted by President David Moores and Club Owners Geroge Gillett and Tom Hicks after an email sent to Martin Gill outlining the DIC bid was intercepted by club officials.

It has emerged that Parry has been passing secret information to United officials ever since he joined Liverpool and HAS been receiving an annual salary from them.

The information passed to United reportedly includes:

              - top level financial information including secret details about the DIC bid
              - top transfer targets which meant Liverpool missed out on both Christiano Ronaldo and Nemanja Vidic
              - information about the players contracts and wages
              - information relating to sponsorship deals and club sponsors

Club officials were said to be completely shocked yesterday at the turn of events at Anfield, and admitted that although Rick Parry had not performed as well as they had expected they never thought that he would turn out to be a spy for Manchester United.

David Moores is said to be particularly devasted as he recruited Parry and gave him the keys to the club.

A club spokesman declined to comment on the current situation.

nah - the shock is that despite being the best club in the world we are currently lying 7th and playing like a pub side.

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."
