No. They just know not to fuel the flames of a nothing story by even commenting on it.Originally posted by el matador View PostCarragher came out the other day and said something along the lines of
"this season hasnt been good enough - the league's gone and we're playing for fourth spot, it isnt down to luck".
If he thinks our problems are not down to being unlucky then where are the problems ?
Players - management tactics ?
also when benitez was being slated in the press - carra and stevie didnt come out in support of him which suggests that they dont have any confidence in him.Lucky owes Kopdan £10

to some extent mate.Originally posted by fredo View PostIt's still speculation mate.
but things arent right at anfield and its not just about the off-field stuff with hicks and DIC.
I think there's more to it and we all have to admit we have underperformed this year. When we were top of the league earlier on I didnt think that we would win it but I thought that we would be close - there's still time but its a real long shot.
If beni is here next year i will be very surprised. I think he could do with one more season with new supportive owners and a couple of top players to boost the side.

Of course we've underperformed mate. But I still think we would have been behind United and Arsenal. To be honest, I didn't expect Arsenal to be doing so well, because they finished more than 20 points behind last season. What an improvement !Originally posted by el matador View Postto some extent mate.

As regards our own season, I just think that the uncertainty and the battle Rafa decided to engage with the owners ruined our season. With us being the talk of the town everyday didn't help as regards team spirit. Professional or not, football is an expressive art and it's bound to affect our play. It's not the same as any professional job, like it or not.

I thought we were having a prety good season till it all kicked off with Hicks and "I'm concentrating on coaching the team".
When there's something wrong at the top, it's bound to add insecurity all the way down, and when you're dealing with such fine margins as in the top level game, every distraction is magnified.

I thought that Arsenal without Henry would really struggle but they have done great. I thought it would be man u chelsea and us going for the title but things havent quite worked out for us.
What alarms me is the way the team is playing. Even in the past we have always defended well and built on that but this year stuff that we've always been good at we havent.
Something's definitely wrong and i think its something to do with Benitez tactics and because of Pako leaving. If he comes back that might just give us the bridge between the players and the manager.
It would also help benitez endlessly.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

ffs, more bad news looks like then, Notw the rag, belongs in a toilet. I dont think Rafa has had a day's peace off the filthy rags since he became manager. If the players are split they should be ashamed.
Rafa's Tactics have brought many chances that dont get converted, say what we like about Kuyt but some of the misses have been incredible, players of lower quality could stick them away, seems there's more to it, We are like England, more scared of losing than anything, it's the overiding emotion when they run out onto the pitch.
