Would you help towards an Est1892 share?

I think if you want to buy shares as a joint effort you should do it with your mates and not a group of web site members, it is just a recipe for disaster.

My view is every penny helps with this kind of thing, I would like to know why people think it is a stupid idea and wouldn't put anything in.

no tbh how long would this actually take,its not something you could do over night,id imagine it would take years to raise enough money to even attempt it,thats to long,we want these ****ers out now.

it would be an absolute minefield having an EST share. in principle i wouldn't mind throwing some cash towards the club each year if it was fan run, but as far as a group share goes it's a bit tricky to organise and run

well obviously 100 members throwing in £50 equals one share........ when it comes to voting we do it democraticaly with someone who is respected ............. Shaggy or Mr M having the deciding vote if its 50/50

we could also have our own room on the site to discuss things amongst ourselves

The way I see it if I and 49 others lobbed in a 100 quid each and we bought a share I would be more than happy for one of the mods (Shaggy say) to hold it in his name. I wouldn't expect to be asked my opinion on everything. If we were to elect a president etc then maybe the 50 members could be polled on the subject to decide where the vote was going. But that would be it. I don't expect the seat in the ****ing directors box for £100. The important thing is that one more share and 5 grand is raised. And while we're an the subject I think it's a disgrace some people are ridiculing the idea. Some of Tom's earlier posts hit the nail right on the head for me. Can you imagine if we managed to push this through? Some of the Mancs are already panicking about us stealing a march on them regarding fan ownership.
