He's blatently just talking about protests against Hicks and Gillett, no one has a problem with them because they are American the problem we have with them is they are ruining our club!! And we would give them the same stick wherever they come from.

This is one thing that annoys me about idiots like him, they take a problem, simplify it spin it around to suit their agenda and use it as a stick to beat us with, despite the full facts changing the whole context
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It's not good because it's rude. It's good because it looks like it's good because it's rude.

Ahhhh. Nah man no arguments from me. I know what you mean- I lived in Preston while the race riots were going on. ****ing pale mate some poor sod got stabbed right on our student union.

Manchester is BAD, but compared to Preston, Burnley etc they're ****ing nuts, they literally have no white and no asian area's it's unbelievable! Bad times really considering we're now in 2008- it's almost like regression back to the monkeys and apes!
Manchester. . . WANK WANK WANK

You're right though mate some of the views you regularly hear around here towards anyone with Asian heritage is sickening. There's some areas where it's almost like there are segregated communities and it just gets passed down from one generation to the next so it's hard to see how things can improve. Sad but true.

Anyone have a wiki account? Maybe someone can edit this page and tell the world what Cohen thinks of Liverpool.

Maybe Diao was a "token" signing to meet the equal opportunities act? I think we killed 2 birds with one stone when we got him as we covered ourself with the disability act aswell!
I think Everton had the lowest stats of non white players, and were the worst English club for racist chants/singing etc.
Not sure when this was done though.
Fans were asked: "Have you witnessed racism aimed at players this season." The percentages of fans who heard racist abuse were: at Everton 38%, at Rangers 36%, at Celtic 33%, at West Ham 32% and at Newcastle by 31%. Best in the ranking were Wimbledon on 11%, Charlton on 12%, Derby on 14%, and Southampton and Arsenal on 16%.

Everton fans became notorious in the 1980s for singling out the black footballer John Barnes, who played for Liverpool, during his first appearance in a Merseyside derby, when scores of bananas were thrown on to the pitch. The club was also one of the last in the country to have a black player in the team.

I'm not too sure where that is in relation to where I used to live. I have heard of it though. I think it might be a right turn at the traffic lights coming up to Homebase coming into preston from the M6.

Either way i used to live in Roeburn (Student Halls) and then Foundry Court after that- right near that big silver excuse of a student union!

Yeah I know where you were mate, not far from the Adelphi and Roper Hall. Some top class venues there eh mate.

If you go down the hill from Fishergate in the town centre and across the river, Penwortham is the town that you come to when you go up the hill at the other side if you know what I mean.
