You're right though mate some of the views you regularly hear around here towards anyone with Asian heritage is sickening. There's some areas where it's almost like there are segregated communities and it just gets passed down from one generation to the next so it's hard to see how things can improve. Sad but true.

On a similar note, I remember a few years back someone digging up some stats about the club being "racist" as we had the lowest ratio of blacks at the club compared to the rest of the country. Maybe Diao was a "token" signing to meet the equal opportunities act? I think we killed 2 birds with one stone when we got him as we covered ourself with the disability act aswell!

I think Everton had the lowest stats of non white players, and were the worst English club for racist chants/singing etc.
Not sure when this was done though.

I'm not too sure where that is in relation to where I used to live. I have heard of it though. I think it might be a right turn at the traffic lights coming up to Homebase coming into preston from the M6.

Either way i used to live in Roeburn (Student Halls) and then Foundry Court after that- right near that big silver excuse of a student union!

Yeah I know where you were mate, not far from the Adelphi and Roper Hall. Some top class venues there eh mate.

If you go down the hill from Fishergate in the town centre and across the river, Penwortham is the town that you come to when you go up the hill at the other side if you know what I mean.
