Well, let me just say that my friend told me that he got the info from DIC, not from LFC. He works from time to time in the middle east and got some friends there.

He told me that the Sheikh almost always get what he want and a few other things that I can't tell, I gave my word.

I'm not worried even a little bit that DIC won't buy the club.

i can name a few examples where he didn't mate. his Airbus adventure is one, where he was trying to convince airbus to manufacture the planes in Dubai, he spent billions of dollars on that, first of buying 100 planes which cost 13,5 billion dollars get some goodwill and when that failed he bought 4% stake in airbus costing a a few hundred million, and yet nothing happened. another thing is that he tried to make Dubai the flower distributor of the world and wanted to compete with the Netherlands, he bought a company from there and from France, and built one of the most expensive freight trafficking building in the world, witch had a central cooling system that was unbelievably expensive. there are only a handful of containers in there on a regular basis, and he never got what he set out to do. another thing is that they have failed to bring in the long time foreign investment into Dubai that they where hoping to get, they rely heavily on western impact on Dubai in the future but it's not happening at the moment. very few investor don't trust the stability in Dubai and hence most of the investors only invest in the short term...

if there was someone on here that was more knowledgeable on them on this site he could most definitively tell you many other examples on stuff that he has wanted but not managed to get....
