So if they are going to play a round of match say in the middle of the season they fixtures should be the following....

        1 Arse v 20 Derby
        2 Man U v 19 Fulham
        3 Chel v 18 Brum
        4 Everton v 17 Reading
        5 Liverpool V 16 Sunderland
        6 Villa v 15 Wigan

So you seed the teams based on league position

I did mean to add "primarily" in there - I know you're not saying that no-one else can support the club, but we all know it's a world-wide club these days. It may be Liverpool Football Club and they may play in Liverpool but it belongs to all of us and we all feel the same way about it, and all reds (and fans of other teams) should be opposed to this move to start playing league games anywhere but in England.

its still not fair though is it?

all it does is ameliorate the unfairness as well as exacerbating the superiority of the top 4 over the smaller teams.

midtable teams have to play each other 3 times whereas Arsenal get to play Derby 3 times.

and teams in the bottom 3 at year end will end up having ANOTHER almost guaranteed zero points game as they have to face one of the top 3 yet again.

nothing can equal or improve the current system of playing everyone once at home and once away.

your suggestion will probably the best of them and even that makes it ****ter. so why bother doing it?

Everton are playing well this year so their reward is to play a lower placed team. So maybe the bottom place teams will play more attacking football to try to avoid having to play a game against a top 3 club.

Yup but it also gives them a chance to gain another 3 points which could mean the difference of going down or staying up.

they have a full league season to get them 3 points though. Where does it end? just keep playing for ever so nobody goes down?

but its not an improvement on what we have is it. its worse.

it doesn't, it condemns them to yet another no chance of winning game against Man Utd or Arsenal or Chelsea, when those they'd be chasing who are 5th or 6th from bottom get the difficult but massively easier chance of playing the likes of Portsmouth or Man City etc.

ie the lowest clubs get 0 points, and their rivals get a realistic chance at 1 or even 3.

Just think if Liverpool played in the US and their are about 20 hot women in Liverpool Cheerleading outfits

It's all about money in the end and if I get a chance to see Liverpool play 4 hours from where I live I'll be there and I'll be a very very happy person.
