Anyone recommend a decent pub in Manchester to watch this game. Somewhere without too much agro. Im worried Manchester is going to be one huge fightzone by 4pm Sunday as the Manchester derby is on before our match.

We'll get beat two nil.
We'll start off alright, keep it tight, maybe create one or two chances, think we're in with a shout of nicking something, Kuyt will probably miss from 6 yards, then Ballack, Cole or someone will score via a deflection just before half-time.
Second half will start off an even affair, then we'll gradually work our way back into the game, bring on a few subs and create some chances, of course we miss these chances.
Then as we pile players forward late on looking for the equaliser, Chelsea hit us on the break - 2-0 GAME OVER. The Reds go down to another defeat at the Bridge.

The problem is that Crouch will have to create his own space now. Chelsea will play with a very high defensive line and take out our slow attack.

They can afford to give Crouch or Kuyt a couple of yards and still take them out.

Gerrard is the one that will have to make the running behind the Chelsea defense.

Gerrard and Lucas (if he plays) are more than capable of going beyond Crouch and making themselves an attacking threat. We will have to make chances but we need to make sure that we have our shooting boots on.

Babel in this case would be quite good because he could capitalise on the space left in behind the defence.

Its very hard to see us getting much out of the game, now Torres is out. Lets face it we're down to SG now as a realistic threat. If we do get beat it shows just how far behind we are. They've got loads of players missing and this should have be a golden chance to beat them, but its hard to have any genuine hope of this happening.

There is a massive gulf in squads. We have a few injuries and we aren't still confident of beating a half strength Chelsea side who realistically aren't title challengers

For Chelsea take Drogba & Lampard out, they still have Anelka, Malouda, SWP,Cole, Ballack as genuine attacking threats. Compare that to Kuyt, Kewell, Pennant, Benny & Alonso. No comparison I'm afraid.

I see your point BUT Pennant and Harry do supply the crosses for Crouchy when he's there and Yossi is a serious goal threat.

By the way, Ballack is a complete tosser
