Sure we can only speculate, but the average lot have barely made an impact, and i cant imagine the youngsters could do much worse.

As for Rafa seeing them in training, of course that's true...doesnt make him immune to poor judgement though.

Let use for one second assume that Rafa has poor judgement. And not only Rafa but the entire Liverpool staff. Then what about the staffs of other premier league clubs and la liga clubs who didnt think our youngsters would make suitable contribution to their teams.
BTW you are being harsh with average lot barely making an impact. You can point your finger to Kuyt and maybe Pennant. But do you expect a reserve to come and hit chamions league hattricks like Yossi.

I've said it before and I am not lonely here I know but Kuyt is turning out to be Rafa's "Diouf". If Rafa does get moved on the signing of Kuyt will be seen as the biggest catalyst in the aftermath.

BTW Rafa makes a profit on a lot of those average players.
