Only every game this season. I really don't think he has much pace at all. Pennant is faster over 40 yards than Babel. That I'm sure off.

They are both not good enough to take us to 19 anyway...

pennant is not good enough to take us to 19 anyway...however it is babels first season in the prem and he's only 21, so he should be given more time to develop his true potential
        i agree

Dirk played well. But only as well as he did away at West Ham the other week, when people still slagged him off. I feel sorry for him, he's got to score a hat-trick every week to please some people. Fair play though, proud of the lads today.

a hat-trick? one in three would probably suffice. his goal tally this season is truely awful.

If Babel is to make anything out of his stay in England it will be as a stirker. He is hopeless as a winger. Even Kuyt is better out wide.

                Babel today:

                Erratic
                No end product
                Can't cross
                Wasteful
Soft ass shot miles off target

The next Henry? Not a ****ing chance.

                Refund!

Of course a hat-trick every week is going over the top mate, I'm just saying that the lad deserves more credit than he's getting at the moment. I'm not his biggest fan but I thought he was good today. However, if Chelsea had scrambled a last minute winner I bet he'd have got loads of stick.

                      You're wrong CAD.

I was wondering about his pace a while back as well, as it's not often you get to see it, but there was one moment, I can't recall in which game where it really showed.

Someone posted a quote by the Ajax coach when he was there and it went along the lines of "Babel, you're the quickest man in Holland - just kick it and run".

and i remember the ajax fans being not exactly unhappy he'd been sold too. cisse used to kick it and run.

nevermind, he does look more threatening as an impact player.

Hi Keni! Good to see you here

Perhaps. It's not like I'm running around Melwood with a stopclock.

Babel is not explosive like Torres. At the very least give me that!

He might be able to get som pace after the first 50 yards.

He played and absolute stinker for Holland against Croatia btw. Van Basten was pissed at him and pulled him off.

I expected much more from him.

he's hardly been ****e for us mate, your being way to pessimistic about his performances. he has massive potential he's scored a few this season aswell, cant you just accept that he's young and is still learning his trade in the prem.

Once in a career would do me at the mo. He's ****. Why won't people just face facts? It's nothing personal. He's just way short.

You think Babel has ANY chance of becoming as good as Henry?
