There are some people on here who keep kidding themselves that Hicks will be selling, i dont know where the idea that Hicks wants to sell comes from. Plus he doesnt need to find the money to buy Gillett out, he will get someone to back him who will be just a bigger bell end.

Well why would Hicks be in talks with DIC if there wasn't a chance of a deal being done? Also he met with DIC financial ppl in London last week so its not like they wer just discussing a potential partnership.

So you think Hicks will find someone to give him 200 odd million and then let him have 100% of the club The agreement is that Hicks has first option, if he brings in a 3rd party then the first option arrangement is off and GG can seel to whoever.

If DIC offer Gillett 250m for his shares but the Hicks GG agreement means Gillett has to sell for 150m to Hicks then Hicks is laughing.

Hicks lied to the fans, openly admitted that he would take money from Liverpool to use for the Stars, has loaded the club with loads of debt that he said he wouldn't, openly looked for a new manager and publically admitted it and doesn't have a clue about our club or football in general.
