I've been looking at his posts and just a few days ago he said on 14th Feb "I don't even think Parry knows what is going on with the apparant takeover." and today he's saying "Just believe me when i say, if something is going to happen i will know as the information on a possible takeover go in front of this person if anything is going to happen" :whatever:

In that case someone should go over there, ruffle a few feathers and put the knobhead in his place. Maestro has already debunked some of what he said and I know who I trust.

And remember, Shankslegend said one of the reasons why the club rejected the original DIC takeover proposal is because "DIC were watching the game v Arsenal from somehwere in the world and phoned Rick Parry at half-time demanding that Dudek be substituted" (I paraphrased that)!! Kurtangle was at the game and he saw Al Ansari sat next to Rick Parry!

And I think it's safe to say his reputation has gone to his head, with all his "I am not happy with what CTR has said", "lock the thread" and " I assure I am in the know" bollocks

If the deal is between DIC/GG then its quite likely Shankslengend knows nothing not because of his insider sources, but you would think these negotiations would happen well away from Anfield? Didnt he also make the call about gary mac's imminent return a couple of months ago?

True. This is what he said last week:-

No i don't have no update, its a bit different from the takeover last year when i was getting lots of info through. As basically the dealings are direct through Hicks and Gillett and DIC, Liverpool will not come into it.

Today he says:-

He has confirmed that his source works at Anfield. So last week he said negotiations would be happening independent of the club hence his lack of info, now he's saying any potential takeover info would go before his source at Anfield. As soon as he's been trumped with the scoop by another poster he changes his story. :whatever:

Not sure about what he said about Gary Macca, but I'm sure he said the Mascherano deal would be completed and announced last weekend, and a couple of days ago he comes on apologising saying he doesnt know what went wrong.

I was initially willing to accept what he said in good faith, but it is abundantly clear he's full of it.

It is funny how he;s changed his tune. Last week he was saying the takeover negotiations were happening direct between G&H and DIC, ie independently of the club, hence his source at Anfield wasn't in the loop.

Today, as soon as CTR came out with the scoop, Shanklegend has dismissed it, saying his source at Anfield would be in the loop as any takeover info would pass in front of him.

on the other hand, CTR has said that his source is not an insider at the club, but someone involved in the negotiations between DIC and G&H, ie someone who by Shanklegend's own admission would be likely to be more in the loop than his own source at Anfield.

As you say, once the takeover reaches Anfield, which might only be once it's been concluded, then he would be in the know, if he genuinely has this source that he is bragging about
