Oliver Kay has been the most spot on journo in all this mess so far.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I was about to ask about his reputation, so thanks for that! hopefully this "emotional rollercoaster" is starting to come to an end!

This is good news, well positive news anyway. Still a bit of caution in the story but all this stuff about Hicks being in Dubai means that he's trying to develop a working relationship with DIC

I think he'll be kept on because of his expertise in building stadia

I think if he is kept on them it will probably be because of the American market.

A bonus is that we will get rid of Parry.

Kay is reliable imo but I'd wait till Tony Barrett confirms it before opening the champagne
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

If this is true (and again we have no facts....yet) then it may be good news.

I think we need to be cautious and realistic about DIC. They are not going to do an Abramhovich.

Well, so far it has been Kay saying something and then Barrett more or less confirming it the next day but I agree with you.

i would argue that point with you AF. Looking back over the past several months I dont think any one journalist has actually reported anything that could be interpreted as fact! Lots of speculation, lots of 'sources say' or 'this papwr understands'. but nothing at all of any substance. In fact Kay has often just been a purveyor of wild speculation. Im not saying he's wrong or right, just that we really have no way of telling, so people shouldnt jump to the obvious conclusions just yet.

I've been exchanging emails with Barrett for a while now and basically he has been saying he can't say what he knows as he would be breaking promises if he did but all will become clear withing 2 weeks.

He is a die hard red and wants the americans out, and imo his silence atm with regards to snippets in the echo is good as things are going on well behind the scenes.

Barrett cannot say what he knows. Hence why he only replies to rumours at the bottom of his articles.

                                So what is it then:

                                2-3 days, or,
                                2 weeks, or,
                                next month, or,
                                some other indeterminate time?

It seems all we can say for sure is that Rashid and Chris Bascunt haven't got anything right yet.
