DIC deny timeline SSN"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.
"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

So...if I am getting this right...The news from Sky news is that there is no news. No doubt they have this under a 'Breaking News' banner.Originally posted by coop View PostSSN saying that DIC have not bid £400 million and there is no deadline.

Posts: 760 My contact in the States that previously said we should expect news on a Tuesday has just called me - as this is a Tuesday and it's all kicking off I trust him!
Apparently, Hicks has been actively fishing in the market for the last 24hrs to secure a loan to buy out Gillett. At of the end of business (New York) yesterday he did have an agreement in place to raise the funds. However the rate is crippling and he has been advised not to take the money. Also, it's such a bad deal common sense should prevent him from accepting the terms.
However, the guys in the markets believe that HIcks is very determined to show he can raise the funds. The key word here is 'show' - the underlying opinion is that he wants DIC to up their bid by $50m and invest in his South American cable communication business.
Gillett does not want to sell to Hicks so this avenue appears cut off. Therefore, DIC had to make a move and it appears they have done!
Prediction - DIC will own the club / have their offer accepted by Thursday!
I hope this helps and comes to be reality....
I'll update throughout the day.
