Well it was first reported in the Echo which has the most credible sources.

            So there was no bid?

            Amazing.

            What next?

"BBC understands that a highly reliable and respected poster in an internet forum, who is known as "Rashid", has suggested that Hicks may or may not want to sell..."

SSN are still saying they understand that the bid is 400 million. No mention of the deadline.

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Just watched it on my brand new (delivered only hours ago) big **** off flat screen TV.

If we lose on Thursday morning it gets "accidentally" knocked over and insurance can replace it.

There is a bid although naturally DIC arent going to confirm the figure. They have however confirmed there is no deadline in place.

This is good news overall. Much better than the potential that they could walk away for good by tomorrow morning. Thigs are finally moving on now.

But aren’t we back at some sort of square one?!

I remember the BBC “understanding” months ago that DIC had a £500m bid for us on the table – and look at the situation now.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Sky text say, DIC have confirmed they have made a 400 mil bid. It does say DIC CONFIRM.
Sorry if i'm repeating stuff, i'm sort of diving in & out of this thread as i go about my business. Can't concentrate on F all though.

No deadline is good news, means DIC still have hopes of clinching a deal, this story won't end today though and I'm still pessimistic about the outcome.

I think it's moved on from media outlets understanding that DIC have made a bid to DIC confirm they have made a bid.

I think this will all be over very soon one way or another.

My hunch is the yanks or yank will stay.
