SSN website leading with the headline below

          Hicks denies Gillett talk
Liverpool co-owner Tom Hicks has refuted claims he is open to George Gillett selling his stake in the club

But when you click on the link it's the old story about him not standing in Gillett's way if he wants to sell to DIC

They are also saying on SSN that Hicks has told them that he is not meeting DIC next week and denied claims by DIC saying that he is open to GG selling his 50% to DIC.

No quotes, they were probably told off the record.

ffs. What about that ****e about getting it sorted for the sake of the supporters, did he say that? What the **** are sky playing at, whoever told them he was ok with the Gillette sale, they believed, went with the story, NOW THIS. What are their bloody sources like.

Or is Hicks trying to make Dic look stupid for the sake of it. Drawing them in, letting them make positive statements, Only to finally say NO!

Hicks is feeding the media one thing, and then doing the exact opposite. I wouldnt pay attention to what he SAYS.

Why have 1 breaking news story when you can make up as many as you need?

Their sources are probably other lying americans, you can not take anything said on this matter as fact.

Breaking News story....Breaking News story....Breaking News story.....

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Well DIC are telling them one thing and Hicks is telling them another....

Can't blame them for reporting both stories.

It seems as though Hicks is deliberately winding everyone up with this.
