It's not going to stop going down either. US is in big trouble today, going to fall below 12000 which could have a significant impact on Hicks and their entire economy. They'll officially fall into a recession as 12000 on the Dow is the support line. ****ed for them (and hopefully Hicks), world economy struggles, but if it can help move us out of their hands I'll be celebrating. Sorry for the financial crap, just think today could be vital for Hicks future negotiations (and ability to get funds in the future).
The price of oil at $105 a barrel is also shafting the US economy.

      Good, good
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Surely if the price of oil is one route to screwing Hicks, DIC have won?

After all, they probably help supply most of it. Up your prices lads...everytime Hicks demands an extra £10m on the value of his shares, put an extra $10 on the price of a barrel.

Pretty soon Hicks' mate Dubya will ask him to get a move on and sell the feck up.

Also in the last 4 weeks the US dollar has weakened by 800 points to nearly 2.02 against sterling - quite a significant drop, when a correction back towards 1.80 seemed likely from Jan.

Surprisingly, much of US oil is bought from Canada who have 2nd largest reserves in the world.

Hicks will just get his mate Bush to start another war for oil if things get that bad....

Sorry but this is rubbish, the level of the Dow Jones has nothing to do with declaring a US recession, a recession is defined as 2 quarters in a row of zero or negative growth, price of the Dow has nothing to do with it.

Whilst the American economy is struggling at present it doesn't prevent people making money, Warren Buffett increased his personal fortune by $10 billion last year so Hicks may very well be sheltered from the US downturn as none of us has a handle on all of his assets.
