The other thing to bear in mind is that Hicks isnt going to find someone to offer Gillett the same kindof deal while not expecting a say - so Gillett wont just sell to anyone. The greedy cunt held out for £80 million profit as it was!

-THicks can only veto the sales for 90 days.
-He cannot even afford half the club, therefore needs someone else on board.
-None of his yank mates will have much money in that time due to the current financial climate.
-No-one will come in without a say in how the club is run.
-GG will be well ****ed off with the fat cunt as he can longer cash in & therefore is unlikely to sell a minority stake to THicks/ rest to his mates.

Therefore we are gonna have to revisit all of this ****e again in the summer. DIC may well get us in the end, but we can kiss our summer transfer plans goodbye- not to mention the stadium for the moment.

It's a ****ing disaster, but mebbe not terminal.

I don't think it's the veto that lasts 90 days, but the period of exclusivity that Hicks has to buy the shares in without worrying about another bidder coming into the frame.
