Now this may well be clutching at straws (other have so why can’t I) but what he said is that, he is breaking off from discussing with DIC about a “possible purchase of a minority stake in Kop and, in turn, in the Club”. He does not say that he is not still prepared to discuss a total sale in fact he goes on to say, "I and my colleagues and representatives will continue to explore a number of other options with regard to the ownership of Kop and the Club aimed at achieving an appropriate ownership, financial and organizational structure for Kop and the Club over the long term."

Basically reading that statement he wants someone to give him wads of cash so he can run it without them having any say or any involvement

That's a bit judgmentalOriginally posted by Chris View PostThat power hungry bitch has probably ****ed all this up with her mad gloating in the press.
Know her personally do you? Or that she wasn't directed to make those statements?I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

Again I ask would or better still could his mind be changed should we exit the Champions League tomorrow night?
Id have the players ditch the ****ing match if that could be guaranteed!
Surely it must affect the financial projections he is showing his alleged other suitors
Edit:
I take it back about ditching as its just not the done thing but I certainly wouldnt be risking our top players"Through me the way into the suffering city,
Through me the way to the eternal pain,
Through me the way that runs among the lost.
Justice urged on my high artificer;
My maker was divine authority,
The highest wisdom, and the primal love.
Before me nothing but eternal things were made,
And I endure eternally.
Abandon every hope, ye who enter here."
And like that… he's gone

That's ridiculous mate. That document wasn't leaked without DIC senior management approval.Originally posted by Chris View PostThat power hungry bitch has probably ****ed all this up with her mad gloating in the press.
Although she could have had the painters in?
Had an argument with her boyfriend?
Missed out on a pair of shoes?
Only had one chocolate bar?
Pick one
Gillett and Hicks are cunts

Gillett might not have any choice it depends on how the first option clause is wordedOriginally posted by AFII View PostThe problem for Hicks is that he can search all he want. Gillett will never sell to him.

Jesus guys who the **** cares about all this ****! We cannot change any of it, no matter how many sing "Yanks Out" on the Kop, we have a massive game tommorrow, the only comp we have to play for, the multi millions ownership bull**** is exactly that at the moment "Bull****". Noone on here knows anything, the statements are just posturing, typical American business bull****, lets worry about beating the Milanese again and getting a cushy draw for once in the quarters!08-09 Dirk monitor
5 goals (target 15)
3 assists also........

Whoever offers up for GG's share has to match the DIC offer, period.Originally posted by Lecter View PostGillett might not have any choice it depends on how the first option clause is worded
No way can he be forced to sell at a price lower than a bona fide offer already received....... under any agreement, it would make no sense!Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but does not actually get you anywhere.

Oh the old "know her personally" trick.
Does anyone on here know Hicks personally? Lets not go here eh otherwise you'll look a ****.
I think Hicks has shown enough of himself in the Press with his statements, his timing of statements, his treatment of rafa, etc etc to be judged by the masses.Winning an argument on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win you are still a retard!
