OK, since you asked. Lets talk websites first. Go on almost any LFC site and you can find posts slagging off another one (yes even here). The obvious one is KT, but thats Dunks fault. I used to go on YNWA, and wasnt well recieved ,being an 'outsider', and plenty of others have running fueds.

Supporters clubs. We used to have a supporters club, now we have god knows how many, all because the club took over the 'official' one and people stropped.
We have these current organizations, all vying for your attention and claiming to represent us all. And dont give me all this guff about straw polls, read up on stats before hailing them as the truth. Reclaim the kop??? Who for exactly?I'll tell you who, people who want thier own little domain, thats who. people from thier own chosen clique, who sing at the right time and chant when told. Have you ever heard anything so stupid as having orchestrated PLANNED singalongs. The kops tradition was built on spontanaety, not **** like this.

And then we have Hillsborough. I didnt want to mention this as its very sensitive for many of us, but its the same. two (at least) groups fighting the same cause but, im afraid to say, not getting on, lets leave it at that.

So tell me why did Hicks lie about meeting Klinsmann

Why on the day he owned up to that did he deny trying to sell 15% to DIC

Lets ignore the numerous lies between then and last week and pick up when Hicks stated early last week that he had "never met DIC nor do I have any intention of meeting with them to discuss the sale of any stake in LFC" on ly to then send a letter thanking them for the previous meetings and requesting a further one

Gillett might be the problem financially he might be the reason the debt has been forced on the club (bearing in mind they both have a history of leveraged buy-outs I find it highly unlikely this has been forced on them) but Gillett hasnt been the one telling lies and getting caught lying thats solely down to Hicks

It's all so obvious the lies he's told, as you say his denial that talks were on going or even that he intended to hold talks with Dic, He hoped that if he didn't get his way with the deal, he could continue the lie to the fans, and his assertion that he never had any intention of selling.

It now seems he's decided his next course of action is to discredit Gillette in any way possible, shifting any blame he can, telling us Klinsman was a Gillette idea, although he had already come out & said it was the right thing to do as they thought Rafa might leave, was it not Hicks who accused Rafa publicly of Pouting.

if the model is Man u then lfc with 650mill debt versus man u with 800 mill both earning similar sums since we now have a huge stadium and have improved our marketing etc to push us into the top 5 clubs in terms of income then are we not in a very healthy financial and footballing state? is that not exactly what we wanted moores to sell us for?

Man U don't need to pay off ?% of revenue from the stadium. They are only paying the interest from the loan against the club, nothing more.

We will have to pay the interest from the loan against the club, around £30m/year plus ?% of the revenue from the new stadium and that will only come into effect when the stadium is built.

So we will be in a much worse situation than Man U.

I think you might be getting the quote confused if you are referring to this

You know what, I think he may well be. Just thinking back to when they took over I had never heard anything from Gillett about his initial failed attempt to buy the club.

but they pay interest on the 800 mill to buy the club whilst we pay interest on 650 mill to buy the club + the stadium. so we'll be in a similar situation with around 150mill less debt no? am i missing something?
