Hicks has continuously lied since he's been in charge and that coupled with his outspoken **** and causing friction at wrong times in the season are the main reasons why people want him gone.
Regardless of what people say, he has tried to sell his stake and is touting round for the highest bidder. Someone like him is not good for the club.
DIC for me should be the owners right now. A monumental mistake was made. The main reason I want DIC? Al Ansari is a life-long Liverpool fan who unlike the Yanks really knows the traditions of the club. Gerrard, Rafa and Carra (three of the most important people at the club) came out and spoke highly of DIC and their methods. That speaks volumes in my opinion. They are people with the club at heart. Money is secondary, LFC is first.
I want DIC in charge as soon as possible
Scary as **** that is.
That's the one...

Could the fact that the above points appealed to DIC because it would be the perfect aquisition, a jewel, as someone said in the Dubai crown, but one that paid for itself in its own right, costing them nothing long term, once the debts were paid off the profit would easily pay for players, club wages, etc.Originally posted by wishiwasascouser View PostI saw the first thing in the press yesterday to make me question that, though anyone that would buy us will be interested in other revenues of making money. LONDON, March 11 (Reuters) - Talks between Dubai International Capital (DIC) and Liverpool co-owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks are set to continue on Tuesday and over the next few days, despite Hicks' announcement on Monday that talks had broken down, a source familiar with the situation said on Tuesday.
Negotiations over the future of the British soccer club will carry on in Dubai.
DIC is attracted by soaring media and merchandising revenues in the world's richest soccer league.
Texan billionaire and Liverpool co-owner Hicks said on Monday night that he had terminated talks over disagreement about who would run the club.
Hicks wants to remain in control, while DIC also wants a hand in the day-to-day functioning of Liverpool.
The Liverpool sale saga started earlier this year as the partnership between the two U.S. billionaires hit the rocks amid disagreement over the figure of club manager Rafa Benitez.
DIC, which was outbid by Hicks and Gillett when the Moores family sold the club, offered 400 million pounds for the club, almost doubling the 219 million that the two U.S. tycoons paid one year ago.
DIC reiterated on Monday that takeover talks had reached an "advanced" stage but a price and shareholding details still had to be thrashed out.
DIC, which initially wanted a controlling stake, agreed to buy 49 percent - from Gillett- leaving Hicks with 51 percent. However, DIC insisted they wanted to be included in the running of Liverpool. (Reporting by Elena Moya; Editing by David Cowell)
I'm only guessing, & in reality i suppose every owner want's to TAKE a profit
out of the company, but would they need to take as much out as other potential owners.

No one is going to want to make a £500m investment without making a return. Of course DIC want to make money like Hicks and Gillett.
