I don`t see how he was proven to be right in regards to his "Lost Club" thread.Instead of leading alot of fans down the "The End is Nigh" road he should have been advising patience.The Yanks will soon be gone and Rafa is staying by the look off things.
Still,it`s unfortunate he`s stopped posting but he should have stuck around and fought his corner.My arguement with Tom was never personal and never about his inside info it was about his defeatest attitude at a time when all was not lost.

Do you ever remember the club to be the focus of so much media speculation? We've seen a lot of thing happen of late that completely fly in the face of the Liverpool Way, owners running their mouths, publicly undermining the manager, putting him under pressure, reigning him in etc. Ever remember a time when we just got on with our business quietly and effectively ie exactly what we're not doing now?

I don`t agree,by the looks of things we are about to be bought by a company who do buisness in a very professional way about two months after Tom`s doomongering about the End of our club.
It`s all about perception but the G+H involvement in LFC will be soon forgotten and the club will continue to be a Top 4 club or better if Rafa continues to do a good job.

Anyway this will go round and round forever.I didn`t agree with Tom that our club was "Lost" and think I have been proven right and you Think that Tom was right at the time and has been proven right since.

Semantics and technicalities. Fact is, under the yanks, we have lost our club.

The other day I was listening to an interview Gillett gave the day after the takeover where he was saying the Americans would take no active involvement in running the club, that this would be left to Parry and Moores. I wish that was one promise they stuck to, we've all seen the results of them taking an active role.

Johny you are flogging a dead horse here. Tom was spot on in his assesment. What he said was the club we all grew up supporting was being destroyed by the yanks. How can you dispute that. They promised to uphold all the traditions which made LFC stand out from everyone else and in a single year they made a mockery of the club. Shame on them. Get off the ****in fence for once and admit you were in the wrong.
