no no no, you misunderstand. It seems there is a majoritory view of things on this site, and thats fine. The problem comes when someone (in this case Johnny, but there are others) take a different view, albeit we all want whats best for the club. It seems to me that those of us who do either prefer to lookat things differently, or maybe even watch with interest, are fair game for those who arent part of the rank and file. nothing wrong with a majoritory view, nothing wrong with johnnys approach, lots wrong with not allowing each other to coexist here without abuse. Thats all i'm getting at, a gentle dig at those who dont accept people have different views.

There may well be a lot of truth in what you're saying. I remember reading Tom's pessimistic views with interest a few weeks ago before the whole Klinsmanngate with the pack of wolves pouncing on him when they thought he was being overly melodramatic and scaremongering, because he had a very unique view.

To be honest, since then I've not begun to try to read most of the views on here. This place seems to have grown beyond all recognition in the last few months, I think it may have coincided with the removal of the post count. it's become a monster. Don't get me wrong, it's great to have so many new faces on here and differing views, and I still love it here but it's just not the same homely place it was. There does seem to be a pervasive "stick the boot in" mentality on here now, especially as regards to certain posters

I have to agree with you there, eventhough I am mainly a lurker just enjoying reading a bit of info/opinions, I have noticed it as well. Unfortunatly it has gone downhill for this otherwise great site, which I have enjoyed. To many people who hacks at others for putting forward their view, and rumours/info they might have picked up... This has to my understanding also lead to Tom, armchairkopite and perhaps more to leave the site in recently - unfortunate I enjoyed their input, which I will have to do without now...

I don't think it has anything to do with the postcount however, that doesen't really affect what people write... But guess it is hard to find a good forum without that mentality getting in!

I think we'll find that when this takeover business is out the way, things will calm down quite a bit. Thing is, we're all passionate fans of LFC, so a subject that threatens the future of LFC is bound to get people going, myself included.

No probs mate. I'd agree with your premise about this place at the moment, but to be honest we've seen it before (good ol' KT eh?!!!) and although I dont often venture away from here, it does seem a lot friendlier than some I could mention. BUT........there one or two people here who are total arses, and deserve everything they get. (not you by the way!!!)

Tom`s style of posting irked me and I spent alot of time trying to explain to him that alot of people hung on his words and threads telling us that "Our club is Lost" were irresponsible.I had a feeling it was not the end of the world and was trying to calm the situation when this place was going into melt down because this or that MIGHT happen.I apologised to him and was rebuked,if he has left this site then I`m sorry but we don`t need premature scaremongering.We need our more respected posters to remain calm and lead by example.
