I don't know why Pennant is so often criticised, He did have a poor spell in a poor spell for the whole team to be fair. He then started getting his act together but just as he was starting to fire he go injured. He's back now and I think playing very well again. This lad has alot of skill and needs a run of games.

The quality of his crossing isnt great. He usually attempts to float the ball which makes it difficult to attack it with power. Or maybe its because the movement of our players inside the box is very static that he has no other option. I dont know.

I've become increasingly troubled by the lack of V's at the club and am convinced that a more balanced distrubution of the alphabet across the squad will give us what we need to compete with the likes of Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal. Man U have got TeVez, Arsenal Van Persie and Chelsea SheVchencho. Frankly we are always going to be at a disadvantage.

I thought by bringing all the vowels to the team in one go Yossi might be able to take us to the next level but it looks like we are going to have to break the bank and make some serious investment in players with V in their name if we want to be taken seriously and contenders. We also need to consider a few X's incase Alonso leaves in the summer and a Z wouldn't hurt so Zhirkov is a great shout

What's this obsession with barnes? Average player. another over hyped because he's English. Right now, he wouldn't add to our team. He may have potential but as usual, he will probably come to a stand still at a quality similar to that of Jermaine Pennant.
