    Internazionale Build up thread

In all this chaos, we've got a slightly important game coming up in just over 50 hrs time. I think we can safely assume Gerrard and Torres will start. I hope we set ourselves up like we did against Juve.

    My lineup?

    Reina

Finnan -- Carra -- Hyypia -- Aurelio (if fit)

Benni -- El Jefe -- Stevie -- Babel

    Crouch -- Torres

If fit, Arbeloa and Skrtel should start. Skrtel did a good job against Chelsea so I wouldnt mind using him against Inter. Our team looks so much better when our distribution from the back is good. Riise should ahead of Aurelio as the latter is in poor form and Riise is more solid defensively.
I dont think Rafa will start Babel but bring him on in the last 30 mins against tired legs. Although, I wouldnt want to see Kewell starting the game. But Benayoun on the left and Pennant on the right. Masch and Stevie will start in the middle.
Upfront Rafa will start Torres and Kuyt imo.

That said, I wont be surprised if Rafa starts Masch and Alonso/Lucas in the middle, Kuyt and Babel on the flanks of a 4-2-3-1 and Gerrard behind Torres.

      Agree with Arbeloa though

        No he isnt

Edit: He played in the UEFA cup for his old club but I doubt that makes him cuptied for CL.

          i'd hope for:

          ------------reina------------
          arbeloa--carra--hyypia---aurelio
          benni---masher--alonso---babel
          ------------gerard---------
          ----------torres-----------

obviously if skrtel is available i'd stick him in ahead of sami. i'd have crouch on the bench as gerard is far more effective playing off a front man like torres
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

You are allowed to register one player who played in the UEFA cup for the knock outs stages I believe of the CL.

Mancini names squad for Liverpool v Inter

Roberto Mancini has called up 21 players for Tuesday's UEFA Champions League round of 16 first leg against Liverpool at Anfield. Santiago Solari, who is not on Inter's UEFA list, will travel with the squad to England.

Mancini's squad for Liverpool v Inter:

Goalkeepers: 1 Francesco Toldo, 12 Julio Cesar, 22 Paolo Orlandoni.

Defenders: 2 Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, 4 Javier Zanetti, 6 Maxwell, 13 Maicon, 16 Nicolas Burdisso, 23 Marco Materazzi, 24 Nelson Rivas, 26 Cristian Chivu.

Midfielders: 5 Dejan Stankovic, 7 Luis Figo, 14 Patrick Vieira, 19 Esteban Cambiasso, 28 Maniche, 30 Pelé.

Strikers: 8 Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 9 Julio Ricardo Cruz, 18 Hernan Crespo, 29 David Suazo.
Suazo scored two against Livorno so he'll probably start (although Crespo has a history of scoring against us)

                          ---------------- Toldo -----------------
                          Maicon -- Materazzi -- Cordoba -- Zanetti
                          ------------------Cambiasso------------
                          -------------Vieira----------------------
                          ----Figo ------------------ Stankovic----
                          ----------Ibrahimovic -- Suazo---------
