    Time for a change...
negative team - negative tactics - yet more chances (shots on goal a game) than every other team in the EPL except arsenal

i agree with the players out of position though - ****ing annoying!

      ----------------Reina
      Alves-----Agger------Vidic-----Bridge
      ---------Masch------Lucas----------
      Simao--------------------------Nasri
      -----------Torres----Aguero--------

If he had been able to get a few of the players he wanted but couldn't afford.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

          Rafa's negative tactics is bollox.

We have out played every team at home in the league playing brilliant attacking football, that includes ManU, Chelsea and Arsenal. The missing thing is that our strikers hasn't been good enough.

Rafa will use an attacking tactic when he has the chance to do it. He really can't do that with Agger out and Hyypia playing almost every game.

Look at the start of the season. We played very good attacking football until Agger got injured.

There's more to it than that. Rafa's teams don't play to there potential, name any player you want in your screwed up fantasy wank off's, the fact is they wouldn't play as well in Rafa's teams because of his rotation system. They have no consistency and it's directly due to his rotation policy.

I also suspect that part of getting the best out of people at a top team is to get them beating people and the more goals you score the easier this is. We lack a consistent attacking plan and fail to break teams down regularly enough - these are the issues any manager would have to deal with now or at the end of the season.
The point you make which I've highlighted above is exactly the reason why we need to persevere with Rafa for the time being at least. Current circumstances at the club are likely to put off any top class managers in coming here and staking their reputation. Hell it would probably put off even second tier managers, and by that I include the likes of Martin O'Neill (I know others will probably rate him higher than that, personally I dont).

I remember Houllier banging on about the fact that we were the most attacking team in the league even though we were dog****. Kept trotting out meaningless stats like "we've won the most corners".

Have you been watching a different Lucas to the one I've been watching this season mate? How an earth does he justify a place in the team ahead of Gerrard?

Not sure what Nasri has done to justify his hype either. I'd have Babel ahead of him in my team every time.

That team wouldn't be capable of winning the Premiership in my opinion.

the only way you can be the most sucessful attacking team, is to put the ball in the net. and when a top club only has two players that can do that, thats poor. We do not have the players who can attack in the way Man United have Ronaldo, rooney, tevez, giggs, scholes and Chelsea have the likes of Drogba, lampard, kalou, ballack, Joe cole.. then you look at arsenal Van Persie, fabregas, adebayor, rosicky (sp?!), Hleb, hell even the fullbacks attack!

what do we have? Torres, Gerrard, Babel erm..

the point im trying to prove here, is that in order for a team to attack, they must have attack minded players.

My gripe isn't with individual players it's more to do with the fact that the whole squad appears demoralised, the whole squad is lacking fight, and the whole squad is lacking in confidence.

Somebody has to be accountable for that.
