Certainly I don't think we should consider his Valencia as free-scoring - whether that is neccessarily a reflection on the style of play or not I don't know tbh.
Well, he created Mista. He is **** but still scored a lot of goals but that was probably because of the partnership with the brilliant Aimar.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Someone did a great post on RAWK about our defensive 4 this season. To cut a long post short it basically said that when Houllier's back 4 all played together (Finnan, Sami, Carra, Riise), we've been gash, we were slightly better when there was 3 of them and when only 2 of them have played we've had our best games.

It was very well thought out post and when you look at the results for each set of players I cant help but feel it's not a coincidence.

fair point, they should be fit enough to get through potentially what up to 21 odd games?

Change doen't have to mean sack the manager.

I'd rather Fabio played LM than Kewell, personally.

IMO the Arsenal and Blackburn games were good performances. We battered Blackburn as much as we did Man City (argued as a good performance later in the post). I'm not convinced by it at all.

I will say that the Houllier back four does offer less in terms of getting forward that much is true but I really think that much of the analysis is flawed.
