He made a big difference when he come on. You could see their defenders were panicking every time the ball went into the box. If anything he could have been thrown on earlier, but I guess that's not Rafa's style.A humble guy with healthy desire.

I agree. Should have been earlier with the lack of height in their defence.

If we were Italian, Rafa would win us the league easy.
He'd be quickly thought of as possibly the best manager in the world if he went there after us, a Rafa team would rule serie A, and with his CL record that club would be very hot..I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

Well, if the pitch caused a deflection...Originally posted by Nic83 View PostKuyt's goal = massive deflection
Great performance tonight. Why we can't play with that sort of intensity week in week out is beyond me, but hopefully this will be a great confidence booster for everyone involved.
Well done lads. I'm afraid I am very very drunk. And still have 3 hours left of work!!

Thought Finnan was MUCH improved than of late, too.

He wouldn`t be any good if the Italian owners made him shop in the bargain basement.Originally posted by MrMichael View PostIf we were Italian, Rafa would win us the league easy.

Not really.Originally posted by Reece View PostHmmmm do I sense a dig there?
I would have brought him on earlier, but we all know Rafa isn't one for early substitutions. We got the result, which was the only thing that matters, but when a team are down to ten men so early and camped in their eighteen yard box you should go for the kill early.A humble guy with healthy desire.

we did go for the kill early, hence their defenders picking up 1 yellow and 1 red in the 1st 20 minutes.we were all over them from the 1st whistle.Originally posted by The Erectile Banana View PostNot really.
