Exactly, and he got that **** materazzi sent off!!!!!!

That deserves a good bit of credit IMO!!!!!

Maybe ****e is too harsh but he was not immense in any way! And he missed a sitter! He hasn't been great in the last few games he's played. Love the bloke but he wouldn't have made my top 5 last night never mind top 3.

Hardly a sitter... and it was only kept out by an unbelievable save.

He was great untill they went down to 10 men (Which he had a big part in).

once that happened they dropped right back and so there was no space to run into. Toress is most dangerous when he has space to run into.

this is why i think we will go through this tie. They will have to come at us and this will leave space for Torres to get at least 1 away goal.

Masch - Was absolute quality, a proper lesson in defensive midfield play
Lucas - Class and will only get better and better
Finnan - I just think he is one of the most consistant full backs in the PL

I would've liked to have seen JP get a bit longer when he came on he looked pretty dangerous

thought he did pretty well myself, and his running off the ball was excellent. and he scored the opener. not much to criticise really. problem is that first error he makes everyone jumps down his throat. i'm not someone who rates him highly but credit where its due and all that. anyhow, this isn't a dirk thread so i'll shut up - just wanted to give him some credit.

I was sat next to RH last night, and from our spek on the Kop he wasn't much in the game. Not that he has to be great every match but I thought he had a quiet one last night to be fair.

100% agree, took a hell of a save to keep that out.

The other shot he had with his back to goal that curled narrowly wide would have been one hell of a goal too. Genius.
