I was sat next to RH last night, and from our spek on the Kop he wasn't much in the game. Not that he has to be great every match but I thought he had a quiet one last night to be fair.

Aye but isolated lone frontmen are nearly always 'quiet', but he kept going and kept going, kept fighting and eventually in the 2nd half fashioned a couple of great chances for himself. I thought he led the line magnificently.

What i dont understand is the praise Finnan has been getting for this performance. I felt we were lacking in his position on Tuesday because he was failing to over-lap on the wingers

It was only the last 10 minutes that he started providing. Up till then Kuyt and Babel were practically begging him to get up the park and over-lap on them which he kept failing to. Too often for me he kept stopping short and not getting into the final third. Inter were down to 10 men so for me he should have been pushing up much further on the over-lap

Finnan - Again, best game in ages and got forward a lot in the second half.
