Aye on Alan Brazil's ****e Talking Breakfast on Wednesday morning it was the same:
"Liverpool were lucky", "an average performance", "Torres is a cheat", "Inter are crap anyway".
606 is as bad.
Basically the bottom line here though is that Talksport is total ****e. Every one of their presenters, sports or otherwise (Brazil, Gaunt, Durham, Whale, Galloway, Wright) - is a ****** and basically they just say controverisal things to get people annoyed enough to either listen to the shows, or to ring in.
Guess who was the only person in the whole known universe who thought the 39th game was a great idea? Yes Mike ****ing Parry. I rest my case!

Since the "interview" he has been a target. Any bad result was met with glee and there have been plenty. The media smell blood, if you don't agree just think about the reaction if we lost to a late strike for a 0-1 result on Tuesday?Originally posted by DJS View PostWhy do you consider rafa to be 'easy meat' ?
Think about the media reaction?
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

True enough. I heard Tuesday's game described as "the biggest in the history of Liverpool FC", which is just silly.
When it comes to football though, the media in general is just silly.

I can see your point, not sure i'd go along with it 100%, but in any case, people on here were complaining about an alleged anti LFC bias waaaay before 'the' interview.Originally posted by Skillz View PostSince the "interview" he has been a target. I heard some of Mike Parry's ramblings on that
What i like about it is how, whatever the given talking point is, there'll be two presenters together and they'll ALWAYS take differing viewpoints...it's so contrived
"So yes, today we're asking should all humans be shot dead? I'm against the idea...Mike...?"
"It's a great idea Andy and i'll tells ya why..."
It's a bit like a technologically advanced Punch & Judy show.

I don't really care what the media says. They are paid to generate debate and increase listening/ viewing/ reading figures so as pathetic as it is they're only doing a job.
What can piss me off is when I hear LFC fans regurgitating the same crap in real life and on forums. It's like some people have a direct line to Paul Merson when things aren't going our way and when I hear reds talking about rotation, zonal marking etc etc I often feel like putting my head in a vice."My commitment to Liverpool is 100 per cent. I would die for that Liverpool shirt. I think the club loves me and I feel the same, no matter what the situation." - Pepe Reina, Nov '09.

No doubt. Fact is there is a bias though right now. Rafa will prevail and Jose will not be here next season.
It will be as it should be!Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

Not sure if i'd call that a 'bias' or just an example of them seeing someone vulnerable and going for the throat.Originally posted by Skillz View PostNo doubt. Fact is there is a bias though right now. Rafa will prevail and Jose will not be here next season.
It will be as it should be!
In other words, if it was someone else's manager in the same boat, they'd probably do the same IMO.

They didn't go for Wenger's throat last year. It's a frenzy for Rafa now but he will prevail, cos he is resilient, and good.
Come on DJ, he has admitted he himself needs to change, shouldn't we let him have that chance! It seems worse case scenario is a good CL run and that normally satisfies?Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24
