Rafa will be acting in the best interests of Rafa Benitez. I find it pathetic really that people paint him as a saint in all this. Hicks was the best thing that happened to him otherwise the fans would have wanted Rafa out at xmas.

Rafa had at least a couple of opportunities to go to Real Madrid, I also know for a fact that he is wanted in Italy as well, and he had plenty of reasons (ie broken promises here, bigger wages and transfer budgets on offer elsewhere) to leave in the past, but he hasn't. SO dont give us any **** that Rafa only cares about Rafa and implying he doesn't give a damn about the club. He's done more for the club than any gob****e of your ilk has so why dont you **** off?

Tom Hicks Jnr has just walked into The Sandon with his minders, the birthplace of our club, and been forcibly removed by fans.


He was in the Sandon, and he didn't get a warm reception. Don't know if the bit about the punch is true though.

He's meeting a representative of Sons of Shankly as I post this, someone who posts on here regularly, so I'm sure we'll find out soon enough what's happening.

so had hicks not owned the club and we didnt have all the troubles weve had this season our results would have been the same,is that what your saying rash?

Basically yes you are. Rafa is smart enough to know not to tell the supporters what they should and should'nt do. Simple really because he knows if he did he tenure would be short.

It's probably more down to that Rafa isn't allowed to come out with any negative comments about G&H anymore.

For me Rafa knows that he needs to get the season back on track in some form and anymore infighting will be negative. For me he has also told the players to unite and fight as one. The media have been on attack for a while and it's imprtant the club put that aside and focus on whats important.

Who knows but if he is selling, considering he is an owner of other sports franchises I suspect he would be doing his best to rtemove himself whilst keeping whatever reputation he has left intact.
