I wouldn't call it a successful season at all. It reiterates the point we don't have a squad good enough to win games consistently throughout the season. As fans, we are happy to settle for fourth best? What the heck?! As Nic83 said, the league is our bread and butter. We should be challenging that.

Or we could go on a great run till the end of the season and finish 3rd comfortably. Either way, the difference is not as enormous as Nic(I love my self)83 would have you believe. We really do need to improve in an attacking sense but we can not exactly alter our strike force right now. I doubt anyone expected Kuyt to have the nightmare season he has had either.

Well, if we conclude that our season was 'successful', then yes.

If we said it had just about been a satisfactory season, that had been topped off in a wonderful way, that'd be more accurate.

We are so far behind these lot its unbelievable. Arsenal and Man U were to win it, I agree it would be a success. But remember these two teams have won the title during our barren spell and still are contesting it.

So you'd just convienently forget the league? Some 'supporters' disgust me. Settle for 4th best team in England (at best)- absolutely unreal. The league is our bread and butter, that is where we HAVE to perform. Shame onall of you that are happy with this ****e in the league
