Or we could go on a great run till the end of the season and finish 3rd comfortably. Either way, the difference is not as enormous as Nic(I love my self)83 would have you believe. We really do need to improve in an attacking sense but we can not exactly alter our strike force right now. I doubt anyone expected Kuyt to have the nightmare season he has had either.

of course it would be a success , if chelsea or arsenal or manu didnt win the league and won the champions league, they would call it a successful season.
fergie would loose a ball to win another european cup
look how badly roman wants it
there is no pleasing some people.
winning the champions league not being a sucessful season is a crazy concept.

I seriously expected it after watching the first game of the season against Villa. He looked out of sorts.Originally posted by Mattshark View PostOr we could go on a great run till the end of the season and finish 3rd comfortably. When you say 'the difference', what do you refer to?Originally posted by Mattshark View PostOr we could go on a great run till the end of the season and finish 3rd comfortably. We are so far behind these lot its unbelievable. Arsenal and Man U were to win it, I agree it would be a success. But remember these two teams have won the title during our barren spell and still are contesting it.Originally posted by ronniedrew View Postof course it would be a success , if chelsea or arsenal or manu didnt win the league and won the champions league, they would call it a successful season.

Turning draws into wins. We clearly need more in an attacking sense, otherwise we'd be in a much better position.Originally posted by DJS View PostWhen you say 'the difference', what do you refer to?

Of course we have to be happy, after a nightmarish season like that.Originally posted by Nic83 View PostSo you'd just convienently forget the league? Some 'supporters' disgust me. Settle for 4th best team in England (at best)- absolutely unreal. The league is our bread and butter, that is where we HAVE to perform. Shame onall of you that are happy with this ****e in the league
If you're patient enough, Rafa will be delivering our bread and butter.
