I dunno if you have listened to the Peter Crouch podcast, but it was clearly a monumental part in Crouch’s career. Definitely hastened his exit. And I agree was Rafa over thinking that final.

He’s such a good bloke though, that he even manages to be pretty philosophical about that.

I think we dominated that game in a way that few could have foreseen. As ever Rafa needed to be more proactive with his subs. In retrospect Crouchie should have started.
