Hopefully his cancer hasn't got worse/comeback ,i met clem before the arsenal home game last season amd he was looking well and was in good form, i had a good chat with him he said the reason he conceded the 3 goals in the 2nd half when he came back with spurs was he still had tears in his eyes following the ovation from the kop.Originally posted by rodo View Post

Just got thinking about some old highly rated (by some of us anyway) LFC youngsters, and looked up a few of them. **** me.
Samed Yesil - has been in the Turkish 3rd division until last week when he signed for FC Homborg, in the Regionalliga Südwest in Germany
Krisztian Adorjan - last seen playing for Virtus Entella. Before that he was with a Serie C club for 4 years before going to Dundalk on loan
Dani Pacheco - without a club. Last at Malaga. Only 29 still
Lauri Dalla Valle - also still only 29, hasn't had a club since 2017 when he played for a Serbian club called Zemun
Krisztián Németh - been round a few clubs in the MLS, until February this year when he signed for FC DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda in Slovakia. He made one appearance, didn't score, and went back to MLS last week with Columbus Crew
João Carlos Teixeira - recently signed for Feyenoord after 4 years back in Portugal
Toni Silva - his CV is unreal, plodding around all manner of backwaters, playing a game or two, before moving on. Currently at FC Taraz in Kazakhstan. Previous clubs include Şanlıurfaspor, União Madeira, Levadiakos, Mamelodi Sundowns, Al Ittihad and Astra Giurgiu

Can’t remember if he was thought of in the same bracket as the names above, but saw Adam Morgan pop up on some football podcast yesterday.
He’s had well over a dozen clubs mostly in lower regional leagues, such as Hemel Hempstead Town, Colwyn Bay, Mossley and Curzan Ashton. Often staying for no more than a few months and 5 or 6 appearances at a time. He’s now at Chelmsford.
Still only 26. It’s bizarre what a career looks like for many professional footballers when you’re playing below the top 2 or 3 tiers..
