Remember desperately wanting him to not be as **** as my eyes were telling me he was when Klopp first arrived. I seem to recall he missed a sitter v Spurs in that first game and it always seemed like ‘if’ that had gone in he might have got a few. Other than fighting to get to take a pen I don’t recall him doing anything else of note at all.

Him and Benteke though. Imagine Klopps vision and how badly they fit into it.

I remember his debut. I was on holiday watching in a bar and he played up top with Sturridge and we beat Spurs 3-0 at WHL. I was convinced it was the start of something beautiful.



Next week we lost 1-0 at home to Villa.
