He has never shown himself as a student of the game, nor achieved success in a decent league.

I like to think we should be setting our sights much higher.

To be honest, Gone off Gerrard as he's tarnishing his reputation with his links with the criminal underworld. Imagine him getting the job at Liverpool and then bringing the club into repute with links to his dodgy friends.

The media will have a field day, they probably have some stuff on him but keeping it for a rainy day to use when he ever gets a big job elsewhere.

I'd say he's a damn site better than Stevie G as a manager... much more of an intellectual footballing brain and studied the game intensely even when he was still playing. Would be worth following his progress at Leverkusen and see where he might end up next...

I always thought Klopp's successor would be Ljinders, not Gerrard anyway... but after 'that book' and the aftermath, I don't want Pep anywhere near the hotseat...

He took over with them in 17th and now has them closing in on Europe again. Will be interesting to see him for a full season next season.

Albie Riera giving it to the Slovene VAR
They lost this derby to Maribor but still currently holding a 12-point lead at the top and looking very good.

Know that you're the only one. He got paid a vast amount of money for being terrible on many important occasions. He literally had the opposite of a raw deal. 99.9% of the world would feel themselves truly blessed with the deal he had.
