Do they play with defenders in Holland?
Whenever I look Ngog never starts. Behind Jermaine Beckford and Craig Davies in the pecking order.Originally posted by Lee View PostNemeth.

I see Ngog has erm, zero goals and one assist in nine matches this season.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Oh dear.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostWhenever I look Ngog never starts. Behind Jermaine Beckford and Craig Davies in the pecking order.

Shame. I liked Ngog.
He was too young / not good enough at the time to act as cover for Torres, but he looked promising at times and did well in Rafa's last season and under Hodgson
Just seemed a bit meek and lacking confidence.

Following Kasami's goal last night, I looked up some of the 2008 bunch. Looks like most of them are out of the game entirely.
Joe Kennedy - big barreling defender - is out of the game and went to Uni.
Michael Roberts - a lovely passer who I always thought had a future in the game - seemed to go to Chester but there's no trace of him there now.
Deale Chamberlain - keeper - not a trace.
Chris Oldfield - keeper - seemed to go down under in 2010 to play for a team called Hume. No trace since.
Kacaniklic and Kasami obviously both doing well at Fulham
Sean Highdale - had a bad car crash if you remember. No trace of him now.
Adam Pepper I think is still warming the bench at Stalybridge Celtic.
Christopher Buchtmann plays for FC St. Pauli in the 2. Bundesliga
Thomas Ince we all know about.
Alex Cooper was highly rated but he went to Ross County, they loaned him out to Elgin City where he won their young player of the year and is now back at Ross County not getting any games.
Astrit Ajdarevic is by all accounts looking a very good player for Standard Liege.
Marvin Pourie plays - actually plays - for FC Copenhagen.
Nathan Eccleston is at Blackpool not seeing any action at all, ever.
David Amoo is tearing it up at Carlisle, scored about 6 in 10 this season.
The rest - not a trace.Last edited by Shaggy; 22-10-13, 08:56 AM.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Madness.
Some of those I obviously remember but a handful of them I don't.
Bruna went to Blackpool too but I don't think he's ever played for their first team. Dunno where he is now. Thought he stood a chance of carving out a decent career too.
Flora?!?! Didn't he go back to Brazil?
I think I read recently that Dalle Valle is now playing for a second-rate Scandinavian team.
Cheers for the summary too Shaggy.Last edited by Lee; 22-10-13, 09:06 AM.
