Bruna went to Blackpool too but I don't think he's ever played for their first team. Dunno where he is now. Thought he stood a chance of carving out a decent career too.

Flora?!?! Didn't he go back to Brazil?

I think I read recently that Dalle Valle is now playing for a second-rate Scandinavian team.

Cheers for the summary too Shaggy.

That's not the real Botatfogo either, it's practically a Sunday league club.

i thought that, but apparently they have a 50000 stadium haha - a far cry from the Birkenhead Sunday League

Joe Kennedy - big barreling defender - is out of the game and went to Uni.

Michael Roberts - a lovely passer who I always thought had a future in the game - seemed to go to Chester but there's no trace of him there now.

Deale Chamberlain - keeper - not a trace.

Chris Oldfield - keeper - seemed to go down under in 2010 to play for a team called Hume. No trace since.

Kacaniklic and Kasami obviously both doing well at Fulham

Sean Highdale - had a bad car crash if you remember. No trace of him now.

Adam Pepper I think is still warming the bench at Stalybridge Celtic.

Christopher Buchtmann plays for FC St. Pauli in the 2. Bundesliga

Thomas Ince we all know about.

Alex Cooper was highly rated but he went to Ross County, they loaned him out to Elgin City where he won their young player of the year and is now back at Ross County not getting any games.

Astrit Ajdarevic is by all accounts looking a very good player for Standard Liege.

Marvin Pourie plays - actually plays - for FC Copenhagen.

Nathan Eccleston is at Blackpool not seeing any action at all, ever.

David Amoo is tearing it up at Carlisle, scored about 6 in 10 this season.

The rest - not a trace.
I didn't even know Kasami was on our books.

Pourie and Buchtmann I thought were certs to make it. Never really rated the rest and didn't see enough of Pepper.

Yep huge stadium, and previously been bigger, but currently serie D in Brazil.

At least lots of that bunch went on to become professionals, its a shame we didn't get much money out of any of them though. The 1 mil here and there we get for these players ensures that the academy pays for itself entirely, so if we aren't producing anything for our 1st team at least it isnt draining our budget every year.

                      Ayala! Forgot about him!

Thought he showed a lot of promise the few times that he played for us.

When he's had a run in the team he's looked good at Norwich but his injury record is horrendous (and on one occasion he came back from injury and got himself sent off, before getting injured again in training which probably put him down the pecking order somewhat). Still think he'll make decent level player if he stays fit.

Just looked up Djibril Cisse cause I had no idea where he was now, he's at the mafia-run Kuban Krasnodar FC, also playing in the Europa League this season.

Also had no clue his career total so far is 239 goals in 391 matches, pretty impressive for a player with such bad luck
