Sounds horrible. I'll stick with my Guinness.

Genuinely not sure what the oddest thing about this John Welsh story is? The fact that he had 11 pints of Shandy or that he ended the night by booting a 57 year old Lesbian so hard she broke her leg?!

Either way - what an utter knobhead!

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Make sure you get the dips for the bread.

Radler? Never heard of it. The only time I've ever had a shandy was when I was 8 or 9 & nanna zeffelin was trying to stop me taking sips from her beer.
I think you're drinking with the wrong Aussies mate.

"Fosters Radler. Available in 500ml cans (Finland - probably produced by Hartwall) and in 300ml bottles (UK - probably produced alongside Foster lager at Royal) Foster's Radler is the new refreshment beer that combines Foster's lager with lemon. It is an incredibly refreshing new taste with a cloudy new look."

See, I should of realized when you said Fosters was involved. We export it, we don't drink it, like Neighbours it's our gift to you.

Do you think in the Jon Welsh case that he was referring to proverbial rather than literal Shandies.

How ridiculous. Most LFC fans would struggle to know who he is.

I don't really see how any-one's record of charitable work as an LFC player really comes into this kind of debate, given clearly the club encourages players to do this work. They don't do it because they all happen to think of it; they're told to do it.

I suppose they could refuse, but it's not an indication of a naturally charitable person.

And anyway, charity is only an indication of a failed state. But I guess that is an argument for another day.
                              Really?

I sense you don't know very much about charities.
