I think every Liverpool fan was in on that one.
He had an unbelievable record for a really good Czech team. He'd scored something like 24 goals in 36 internationals going into the tournament.
Was like printing money

This is a good article, based on an interview with Ryan Babel, but with barely any quotes from the interview.
So I guess it's an opinion piece.
But anyway, an assessment of Ryan Babel, but really, his unexpected legacy.Oh I don't know.

Reminds me of when HMV had turntables and youd see kids in there listening to vinyl holding one earphone their ear while nodding their head to the beat. Always made me chuckle.
Theyd obviously seen a dj do that and thought it was how you listened to music normally.Last edited by Charly; 04-07-20, 11:29 AM.In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

I think a lot of US here (me included) saw enough in Ibe early on to think he could ‘replace’ Sterling. He had the same explosive pace, was arguably stronger and was also doing v well at youth level. I guess it was more in hope than expectation. I thought he’d do ok at Bournemouth under Howe where the pressure would have been less than at Liverpool.....how wrong I was.Originally posted by red g View PostWho said Ibe was better than Sterling? was it an Ex-Red? Seen he has been released by Bournenouth.
I saw some reports of him not putting in the effort off the pitch and he never seemed to click with his decision making. Him, Brad Smith and arguably Solanke - that’s £40m we fleeced them for

Ibe was the new and improved Sterling, bigger and stronger. Ojo was the new and improved Ibe.
Glad I don't have time for youth team football anymore.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
